Mission Statement: Building and Growing running in the community with the emphasis on youth. Heart of the Runner logo
Races we have: Harvest Lights in October and voted to retain Loveland Sweetheart run the Saturday that falls before Valentines Day.
Membership: 20.00 for individual, 25.00 for family, 15.00 for youth 18-under
We will set up a dues data base (Bitsy or James) perks for being an active member: Discounts at several places that the BOD will compile, Window Decal, and the ability to purchase dry-fit wear to be determined, and more.
The Loveland Classic race will be ran on Saturday July 26. Denise Montague is asking for volunteers and she needs several
Want to raise funds and bump up an annual scholarship to be given away to an athlete of choice at the HS Awards Assembly. No specific High School was mentioned.
Gordon Palmer is willing to lead a morning track workout. For now the Tuesday Track workouts have been moved to 6:30pm
Home Runs will continue and we want to add an evening Home Run with Dinner to invite family and potential members
Talked about a “Point System”: Earn awards for various things like attending races, track workouts, volunteering, etc. At the end of the race year you would be awarded for earning the most points. Several different perks were discussed. Rick Roberts was nominated to track PR’s of members.
Meeting end we introduced the new faces and set Monday July 28th 6:00pm place to be decided on-check the web site
